Our home state, region by region
Three interstates carry most of the cars we move in North Carolina. I-85 runs from the South Carolina line through Charlotte, Greensboro and Durham toward Virginia. I-40 crosses the whole state, from Asheville through Hickory, Winston-Salem, Greensboro and Raleigh to Wilmington. I-77 runs north from Charlotte past Lake Norman and Statesville toward Virginia. I-95 handles the east through Fayetteville and Rocky Mount, and I-26 links Asheville and Hendersonville to the Upstate of South Carolina.
Charlotte area. Our home base. We cover Charlotte, Lake Norman towns like Huntersville and Cornelius, the east side in Matthews and Mint Hill, Union County in Indian Trail, Monroe and Waxhaw, and Gaston County in Gastonia and Mount Holly.
The Triangle. Raleigh, Durham and Cary, reached from Charlotte by I-85 and I-40. See the Charlotte to Raleigh lane.
The Triad. Greensboro and Winston-Salem, up I-85 from Charlotte. See Charlotte to Greensboro.
The mountains. Asheville and Hendersonville, west on I-40 and I-26. See Charlotte to Asheville.
The east and the coast. Fayetteville on I-95, and Wilmington at the end of I-40. See Charlotte to Wilmington.
North Carolina dealers
For North Carolina dealers, we run dealer trades between stores across the state, pick up auction purchases and bring them to your lot, deliver new and sold vehicles to customers, and move fleet, rental and off-lease units. Book one car or several at once. When your usual carrier falls through, we are the backup call, and you get the same contact on every order.
On loads booked under our Guaranteed Delivery Rate, the delivery window is in writing; terms apply. Start with North Carolina dealer transport, read about dealer trades, or call the dealer desk at (980) 552-1101. Charlotte and Raleigh stores can also see Charlotte dealer car transport and Raleigh dealer car transport.
Shipping your own car in or out of North Carolina
We ship single cars across the state and across the country. People use us when they move to North Carolina for a job, when they buy a car from a seller in another state, when a student heads to UNC Charlotte, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, Duke or App State, and when military families leave or arrive near Fayetteville or Camp Lejeune. Snowbirds heading to Florida for the winter ship with us too.
Daily drivers ride on open trailers. Classic, exotic and high-value cars can go enclosed. If the car does not run, tell us; it can be moved, but it changes the equipment the carrier needs.
How it works with FCT
- Ask for a quote by the form, by email at info@fcttransport.com, or by phone Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern.
- A real person prices the move. No instant quote.
- We vet the carrier and confirm the driver and truck before pickup. Every shipment is fully insured.
- We confirm the pickup window and expected delivery window before the truck rolls, and you hear from us first if anything changes.
- Follow it in the portal. At fctorders.com you log in with your email and a 6-digit code, see the driver's location while the driver is active, and get the delivery BOL.
