Vehicle Transport for Specialty and Exotic Dealerships
Exotic, luxury and classic inventory needs more care on the truck. We move it enclosed by default, on vetted, fully insured carriers, with one contact from quote to drop-off.
- Enclosed trailers for high-value units
- Non-running classics can be moved
- Driver and truck confirmed before pickup
Who this is for
Specialty dealers sell cars that need more care in transit than everyday inventory: exotic and luxury stores, classic and collector car dealers, and independent lots that carry high-value units. The cars are worth more, they are often low to the ground or older, and the buyer is usually watching every step.
We move that inventory between stores, from auctions and private sellers to your showroom, and from your showroom to buyers anywhere in the continental U.S.
Enclosed by default for high-value units
Most specialty inventory should ride in an enclosed trailer. Solid walls and a roof keep the car out of rain, dust and road debris, and away from view. Open trailers are fine for many cars and they are what most dealer inventory rides on, but for an exotic, a restored classic or a car the buyer has already paid for, we recommend enclosed.
When you book, tell us about anything that affects loading: very low ground clearance, a long front overhang, a car that does not run, or a classic that should not be driven onto the trailer. Non-running cars can be moved; it changes the equipment the carrier needs, so we say so up front. See our enclosed auto transport page and the guide on when a dealer unit should ride enclosed.
How a specialty move works with FCT
- Send the unit. Pickup and drop-off, a contact at each end, the VIN, the year, make and model, whether it runs, and anything unusual about loading. Call the dealer desk at (980) 552-1101 or use the quote form.
- A real person quotes it. Every specialty move is priced by a person who looked at the car and the lane.
- We vet the carrier. Every carrier is checked before it touches the car, every shipment is fully insured, and the driver and truck are confirmed before pickup. That matters most on high-value units; read how dealers stop carrier fraud at pickup.
- We confirm the windows. Pickup and expected delivery windows are set before the truck rolls. If anything changes on the road, you hear it from us first.
- Check-in and the BOL. The car is inspected at delivery and the bill of lading is signed. The delivery BOL is saved in the client portal.
Shipping to your buyers
Specialty stores often sell to buyers in other states. We can deliver the sold car straight to the buyer, enclosed, with the pickup and delivery windows confirmed before the truck rolls. For dealer loads where the date has to hold, ask about the Guaranteed Delivery Rate: the delivery window is in writing on those loads, and terms apply. See the dealer guarantee.

Specialty dealer questions
Do you ship exotic and classic inventory enclosed?
Yes. We recommend enclosed transport for exotic, luxury and classic units. Open trailers are available when you prefer them.
Can you move a classic that does not run?
Yes. Tell us when you book, because a non-running car needs different loading equipment. We will tell you plainly what that changes.
Can you deliver a sold car to an out-of-state buyer?
Yes. We deliver anywhere in the continental U.S. and confirm the pickup and expected delivery windows before dispatch.
Is the car insured in transit?
Yes. Every shipment is fully insured, and every carrier is vetted before it touches the car.
