Luxury car transport
Luxury and Exotic Car Transport
We ship high-value and exotic cars for owners, buyers and dealers, usually in an enclosed trailer. A real person quotes your car and stays your contact until it is delivered.
- Enclosed trailers recommended
- Driver and truck confirmed before pickup
- Live driver location in the client portal
Who ships a luxury car with us
Luxury car transport is for high-value and exotic cars: the new performance car bought from a dealer in another state, the weekend car going to a second home, the leased luxury SUV coming back, the exotic headed to a buyer. Owners, buyers and sellers ship them with us, and so do dealers. For store inventory, see specialty dealership transport.
We are based near Charlotte, NC, and ship luxury cars anywhere in the continental U.S.
Enclosed is our recommendation
For a luxury or exotic car, we recommend an enclosed trailer. Walls and a roof keep the car out of rain, road dust and debris, and out of sight on the road. Open transport is still available if you prefer it; many luxury SUVs and sedans ship open. The open vs enclosed guide explains the difference.
Tell us about anything that affects loading when you book: very low ground clearance, a long front splitter, air suspension, or aftermarket parts. The carrier needs to know before dispatch, not at the curb.
How luxury car shipping works with FCT
- Request a quote. Pickup and drop-off, the year, make and model, whether it runs, and any loading details. Use the quote form or call (980) 552-1101.
- A real person quotes it. No instant price. We match your route to the right trailer.
- We vet the carrier. Every carrier is checked before it touches the car, every shipment is fully insured, and the driver and truck are confirmed before pickup. Read how to avoid auto transport scams to see why that step matters.
- We confirm the windows. You get the pickup window and the expected delivery window before the truck rolls. If anything changes on the road, you hear it from us first.
- Inspection and the BOL. The car's condition is noted on the bill of lading at pickup and checked at delivery. The delivery BOL is saved in the client portal at fctorders.com, where you can also see live driver location while the driver is active.
Before pickup
Wash the car so its condition is easy to see, take dated photos from every side, remove personal items and toll tags, and leave a low fuel level. Our vehicle prep guide has the full checklist. Pickup and delivery happen as close to your addresses as the truck can safely and legally get, which on some streets means a nearby open lot; see door-to-door transport.
Luxury car shipping questions
Should I ship my luxury car enclosed?
We recommend enclosed for luxury, exotic and high-value cars. Many luxury SUVs and sedans also ship on open trailers if you prefer.
Can you ship a very low car?
Yes. Tell us the car and any clearance details when you ask for a quote, so the carrier comes ready to load it.
Is my car insured in transit?
Yes. Every shipment is fully insured, and every carrier is vetted before it touches the car. See our car shipping insurance guide.
Can I track my car?
Yes. The client portal at fctorders.com shows live driver location while the driver is active, and your point of contact keeps you updated until delivery.
