What new vehicle delivery covers

New vehicle delivery is getting a new car from where it sits to where it needs to be. For most dealers that means one of three moves:

  • Sold car to the customer. The buyer lives out of town or out of state and wants the car brought to them instead of flying in and driving it home.
  • Store to store. The unit your customer wants is at another store, in your group or not. See dealer trade transport.
  • Into your inventory. New units that need to reach your lot from wherever they were sourced.

We move new cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, EVs and cargo vans for franchise stores and the individual buyers they sell to, anywhere in the continental U.S.

Delivering a sold car to the buyer

A customer delivery is the last step of a sale, so it reflects on your store. Here is how we run it:

  1. You send the order. The store address, the buyer's address and phone, the VIN, and when the car is ready. Call the dealer desk at (980) 552-1101 or use the quote form.
  2. A real person quotes it. We price the lane and the unit, with no rate sheet.
  3. We vet the carrier. Every carrier is checked before it touches the car, every shipment is fully insured, and the driver and truck are confirmed before pickup.
  4. We confirm the windows. The pickup window at your store and the expected delivery window for the buyer are set before the truck rolls. If anything changes on the road, we tell you first.
  5. The buyer checks it in. The buyer inspects the car and signs the bill of lading. The delivery BOL is saved in the client portal so your office has it.

Big trucks cannot reach every street. On a tight residential road the driver may meet the buyer at a nearby open lot. We sort that out with the buyer before delivery day. Our guide on delivering a sold car to the customer covers the details.

Open or enclosed for a new car

Most new cars ship on open trailers. When the car is a high-line or exotic model, or the buyer wants it covered, enclosed transport keeps it out of weather and road debris the whole way. Read when a dealer unit should ride enclosed, or ask when you call.

A delivery date in writing

For dealer loads where the delivery date is part of the deal, ask about the Guaranteed Delivery Rate. On those loads the delivery window is in writing. Terms apply; see the dealer guarantee.

On every other load we confirm the pickup and expected delivery windows before dispatch and keep you updated until the car is delivered.

New vehicle delivery questions

Can you deliver a sold car straight to the buyer?

Yes. Send the store address, the buyer's address and phone, and the VIN. We confirm the windows with you and keep the buyer informed until the car is delivered.

Will the truck come to the buyer's driveway?

The truck gets as close to the address as it safely and legally can. On some streets the driver meets the buyer at a nearby open lot instead.

Can you deliver several new cars at once?

Yes. Send every VIN with its pickup and drop-off, and we build the move as one order with one point of contact where the lanes line up.

Do you deliver new cars out of state?

Yes. We deliver anywhere in the continental U.S.
